Purpose: a wellbeing economies movie night
Event description
Join Regen Melbourne for a special screening of the feature-length documentary PURPOSE — a powerful exploration of one of the most urgent questions of our time: what are our economies truly for?
Following the journeys of two visionary changemakers, Katherine Trebeck and Lorenzo Fioramonti, Purpose asks how we can redesign our economic systems to serve people and planet, instead of the other way around. Their efforts have sparked bold experiments in reimagining economic policy, including the global Wellbeing Economy Governments alliance, a movement gaining momentum across the world.
Following the film we’ll have a short conversation about how this lands in Greater Melbourne. How do we feel the opportunities and challenges that Katherine and Lorenzo experience in our own city?
