Practical tools for planning, funding and making your case.
Need evidence for a grant application, business case, project, service plan or funding proposal but not sure where to find reliable local information?
Join RDA NT and .id (Informed Decisions) for a practical, hands-on workshop showing you how to access and use RDA NT’s free Community Profile and Economic Profile tools.
The workshop will help you find information about the Barkly’s population, communities, workforce, industries and economy, understand what the information is telling you, and use it as evidence in your own work.
You’ll explore how the tools can help you:
strengthen grant and funding applications
build the evidence base for projects and business cases
support strategic and service planning
understand community needs and changes
inform advocacy and investment proposals
find credible local information without having to start your research from scratch.
This is designed to be a practical session, so if you have a real project, grant application, business case or planning question you’re working on, bring it along. You’ll have an opportunity to explore the tools and see what information might be useful for your organisation.
Bring your laptop if you have one. If you don’t have a laptop, reach out to the Barkly Backbone who will have laptops available to share, contact Hans 0459 151 043.
You don’t need to be a data expert, the session is about making it easier to find, understand and use local information to support the work you’re already doing.
