Event description

This event explores global perspectives and key challenges of regulating online advertising.  With various government reviews underway that will impact how this rapidly evolving industry is regulated, including the Privacy Act review as well as reviews looking at online safety, advertising restrictions, AI and scams; this event will explore the global context of online advertising, including the technical and economic challenges involved in regulating it, and in implementing different laws in a global environment.  It will also consider how these issues are being approached in the US and EU, and what we can learn from other jurisdictions.
