    Making Worlds | Puzzle Purses

    Puzzle purses are so much fun to make! You might want to make 100s of them by the end of this workshop. It is a combination of origami, illustration, storytelling and really… making magic! Making worlds within worlds! No experience is necessary and enchantment with this process is almost guaranteed.

    Wren is a Walyalup Fremantle based artist, she studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Curtin University and has traveled alot of the world gathering inspiration and joy from art and design most recently Japan and Mongolia. Wren is workshop facilitator and regional art project manager at DADAA and empowers many artists living with disabilities and complex mental health issues. Wren loves traveling to regional places and sharing the art she is passionate about with different communities, she is especially interested in reconciliation and working with First Nations people. She grew up in a small town and wants to enrich the places she visits with her creativity, kindness and passion in whatever little way she can.

    This Event is intended for children 18 and under. 

    Event Details:

    When: Monday 16 December 1:30pm - 3:30pm & Thursday 19 December 2024 10am - 12pm 

    Where: Geraldton Regional Art Gallery, 24 Chapman Road Geraldton 6530 WA

    Price: Free

    What it Bring: Any specific images or photos you would like to work with. all other materials and coloring supplies will be provided however if you would like your watercolor pencils please do.  

    Age restrictions: This event is for children 11 to 18
    Please Note: This workshop will be supervised by two facilitators who hold current Working with Children Checks and parental supervision is not required.
