Event description

Paul Williams is a name long synonymous with jumping in Victoria. As a coach for the Young Jump Squad, he has been involved in Equestrian Sport since he was a teenager, first as a rider and competitor, where he was involved in the Victorian young rider squads from their inception and played a guiding role in making them the success they are today. From those early days, he has gone on to fulfil countless roles within our community, including coach, course builder, commentator, and administrator. Paul has also been involved with many committees, including being a past president of the Port Phillip Show Jumping Club and a representative for Equestrian Victoria.

He has travelled around Australia and overseas as Chef d’Equipe for many teams and is a mentor for his son, Matt Williams, who has represented Australia on many occasions.

Paul is a man of vision; however, he always has the riders’ interests at heart, making him very approachable and easy to talk to.
