Q and A with David Smith, our representative for the federal seat of Bean.

David has been our elected representative since 2019 and was re-elected in 2022 and narrowly, in 2026. Local Independent Jessie Price came within 700 votes of winning the seat, making the seat of Bean very marginal (held by .3%).

David will answer our questions, discuss the issues that are important to us, and be accountable to some of the promises he, and the Labor party made, before the last election. The time will be divided between submitted questions and those asked on the day.

Come and have morning tea with us as we engage in respectful and informed conversation with our MP.

Questions by the 30th October to activedemocracybean@canberra-alliance.org.au
