SLATE-Z regularly convenes partners; facilitates open, continuous communication; builds shared agendas and consensus, and collects and shares progress and measurements. We facilitate five corresponding Work Groups to drive true and sustainable change in South Los Angeles. Together, our SLATE-Z’s Operations Team, Work Group Co-Chairs, and implementation partner organizations identify and pursue projects aimed at meeting the goals of the Promise Zone, pursue federal, state, and local grant opportunities, support the collection and quantification of data across the Promise Zone to ensure measurable results and produce regular data scorecards.
