Join us for a morning of professional networking at Roderick Street Community Kindy, where we will explore approaches to transforming and repurposing learning environments.
Experience firsthand how the kindy creatively integrates upcycling and repurposing into its learning spaces to promote meaningful play opportunities for children.
Discover how black soldier fly larvae are used to process bio-waste and learn about the service’s community partnership with Dragon Fields Farm- an example of local collaboration in action.
With a strong focus on the philosophy of ‘Less is more’, this service offers thoughtful and practical insights into embedding sustainability into early childhood education.
This session will also support you in advancing your own Sustainability Action Plan, a valuable roadmap for integrating sustainability into your service. We will share resource ideas, strategies, and practical possibilities to consider as you develop or refine your plan.
