Qigong is a restorative form of exercise that focuses on internal strengthening, it is also known as moving meditation. Much like Tai Chi, Qigong practice supports and boosts vitality, it has many incredible and evidence based benefits. I share a Modern Qigong class here at Northcote Natural Therapies, where we explore many of the forms of Qigong in a more integrative approach. This series for the end of the year focuses on Inner Peace and contentment. Each session is different in terms of forms we practice, but each focuses on gentle yet powerful movements using breathwork, releasing tension and any stress in our energy through stretches that pinpoints certain meridian points, stillness and meditation. It is an embodiment practice that brings harmony and balance if we allow it to, it is the opportunity to support mind, spirt and body. I am so very excited to share Qigong with you and boost your energy as we come to end this year and approach a New Year. Any one can join Qigong, these classes are suitable for beginners, for children's classes please enquire about dates.

6.50 arrival to get comfy and take off shoes - practice can be done barefoot or in socks

7pm start - yoga mats are provided

Comfy clothes for easy movement

Most movements are in standing position but there are some seated aspects

8pm finish
