QLD Camping Bears: May Long Weekend Camp
Event description
Located 7km outside Warwick, this 226 acre lucerne and cattle farm campsite is located on the Condamine River.
Site is $24 per person, per night, pet friendly with showers, toilets and our campsite will be river front but high to protect from tide.
Warrego Farmstay has egg, meat trays and breakfast trays that can be purchased in advance along with firewood. Kayaks are also available for free hire.
Over the May long weekend we will be engaging in many events such as a Saturday May 3rd afternoon toga party to pay tribute to the gods while watching bears attempt to perform a May pole dance (participation in both is encouraged but not required).
We are aware the federal election takes place over that weekend so please ensure you postal/early vote in advance and we will provide live streaming not far from the fire for those who wish to view the results unfolding.
Sunday is May the 4th so those who are of the nerdy persuasion are more than welcome to dress for the day.
As it's long weekend most of us will stay till Monday but you are welcome to leave early if you need to do so, especially those who also wish to go to Big Gay Day in Brisbane if you want the best of both worlds.
Once you book via the link here we will give you the link to book your nights with instructions accordingly.
Look forward to seeing you there xo
We acknowledge the Keinjan Nation who are the traditional owners of the land in which we are holding this event.
