Queensland Muslims Inc. invites you to the 2025 QLD Islamophobia Summit.

The summit will provide a vital platform to dissect the multifaceted nature of Islamophobia, from racism and attacks on individuals to institutional bias in politics, journalism and universities, and the silencing of voices standing for Palestine, humanity, and justice.

Join us for an evening of powerful dialogue and community solidarity as we explore how to confront this anti-Muslim hatred.

We are honoured to host a distinguished panel of speakers, including:

  • Chief Guest: Aftab Malik – Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia

  • Dr. Nora Amath – Executive Director of Islamophobia Register Australia

  • Remah Naji - Tertiary Education worker and community organiser

  • Omar Ashour – Ex-President of Falasteen Inc.

  • Michelle McDonald – Director of News and Community Engagement, Anglican Church Southern QLD

  • Prof. Halim Rane – Scholar of Islamic Studies
