Event description

Your chance to meet the new ACNC Commissioner at a special Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies gathering.

QUT is thrilled to be welcoming the newly appointed ACNC Commissioner, Sue Woodward AM to Brisbane.

Commissioner Woodward is well known in the charity and nonprofit sector having been involved in researching and advocating on legal and regulatory issues of importance to Australia’s not-for-profit sector for over 18 years, most recently with the #fixfundraising campaign. She is a recognised legal and regulatory expert, with extensive experience in the charities and not-for-profits sector, and was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2021 for her significant service to the sector, to fundraising and to the law.

This free networking function gives you the opportunity to hear firsthand from the Commissioner on the work of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), ask questions and provide feedback as well. There will be time for some 2023 networking and catch ups before and after Sue's session.

There is no cost for this event. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is in-person only (no online option).
