The Honourable Deb Frecklington MP is Queensland’s Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, and Minister for Integrity.
As Attorney-General, Deb has responsibility for Queensland’s legal, justice and governance systems. Her priorities include delivering a justice system that puts victims’ rights first and enhances community safety. She is focused on boosting the capacity of justice services to expedite cases, increasing support and transparency for victims, strengthening regional access to justice, implementing reforms to enhance transparency and accountability, and supporting initiatives that uphold public trust in government institutions.
Deb holds degrees in law and business and was first elected to the Queensland Parliament in 2012. As the Member for Nanango, her electorate spans 18,122 square kilometres and encompasses 48 unique townships and communities. She takes immense pride in being a strong voice for victims across Queensland.
