Queer Sporting Alliance's 2025 National Sports Tournament (NST) is just around the corner, and we’d love for you to come down and show your support!
With participants from across Australia, the NST celebrates inclusivity, prioritising fun over competition and welcomes individuals of all gender identities and abilities who may feel excluded from traditional team sports.
Come along to cheer on the teams competing in Basketball and Netball, and soak in the good vibes!
Event details:
When?
- Friday, 17th January 2025 (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
- Saturday, 18th January 2025 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Where?
- Narrandjeri Stadium (281 Darebin Rd, Thornbury VIC 3071)
Cost?
- Gold coin or digital donation at the entrance - this will help to fund the costs of the tournament & will go towards QSAs little help program.
What’s Happening?
- Quiet Space: We will have a dedicated area upstairs in the main stadium, thoughtfully set up by our friends at Aspect for those needing a calm retreat
- QSA Rollers: Our amazing QSA Rollers will be skating around to collect score sheets and performing impromptu performances!
- QSA Queer Market: throughout Saturday, our QSA Queer market will be back again so you can support local queer traders & treat yourself
- We will be wrapping up the tournament on Saturday afternoon with tunes from DJ Gay Dad as teams compete for the finals trophy
