Event description

Join the Queensland Statewide Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and the Herston Infectious Diseases Institute for this seminar session focusing on Staphylococcus aureus. Centred around two interesting case presentations, our expert panel will discuss current knowledge gaps, research needs, and SNAP and sub-studies.

Our expert panel for the session includes:

  • Prof Steven Tong, Infectious Diseases Physician, Victorian Infectious Diseases Service 
  • Prof Asha Bowen, Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist at Perth Children’s Hospital and Head, Healthy Skin and ARF Prevention at Telethon Kids Institute  
  • Prof Andrej Trampuz, Chair of Device Related Infection Management, QUT 
  • Amy Legg, Clinical Pharmacist, Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship 

A networking afternoon tea will be held from 3:30pm, with presentations commencing at 4pm.
