QUB Drama Celebrates New Writing
To mark the Belfast premiere of Hello Charlie at the Lyric Theatre (https://lyrictheatre.co.uk/whats-on/hello-charlie) QUB Drama is hosting a special in-conversation with playwright Caoimhe Farren and playwright and dramaturg Karis Kelly. Together, they will discuss the play’s development, the creative process behind new writing for the stage, and the challenges of getting new work produced in NI and elsewhere.
Caoimhe Farren is an actor/writer from Derry, currently based in London where she trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.
Karis Kelly (she/they) is an award-winning Northern Irish playwright and screenwriter.
