Entry instructions

ENTRY & ACCESSIBILITY Entry to Parliament House is via the foyer in the Parliamentary Annex building in Alice Street. Government-issued photo ID is required for everyone entering Parliament House. Your bags will also be scanned by our security staff and you’ll be asked to sign in. QPH is wheelchair accessible. Please don’t hesitate to ask, should you require any assistance to enter. However, due to the many staircases and protected historic nature of the building, our tour routes are not entirely accessible and alternatives can be offered. If you or your group has accessibility needs, please advise us on your arrival.

The lunch will be held in Undumbi Room. Please follow directional Signage

Accessible parking

During business hours there is no parking available on-site. Limited parking for evening and weekend events may be available, subject to approval. Please contact your events coordinator for more information. Please note on sitting days there is no parking available to functions and guests. You’ll find on-street paid metre parking in Alice Street and surrounding streets, as well as numerous parking stations. Setting down by a driver on the forecourt of the annexe is permissible for people with mobility issues. Regular passenger set-down is recommended at the George and Alice Street corner, QUT drop off at Frog’s Corner, with a brief walk down Alice Street toward the river, to enter the Parliamentary precinct.
