Queensland Writers Centre Christmas Party 2024

Thank you for being a part of Queensland Writers Centre's story in 2024.

Queensland Writers Centre's Management Committee and staff warmly invite our members to attend our annual Christmas Party celebrations.

Join the festivities and mingle with special guests at Queensland Writers Centre's member Christmas Party. It's a time to relax and reflect on all the accomplishments and milestones of 2024, and look forward to the exciting possibilities of 2025.

The evening will include addresses from CEO Lori-Jay Ellis and Chair Jemma Pollari, as well as the presentation of the 2024 Poetry Awards and the 2024 Johnno Award.

Arrive 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start.

Format

This is a members-only, face-to-face event; it will be held in-person at The Edge Auditorium. This is a catered event; please note in your registration any allergens or specific dietary requirements. An open bar will also be available.

Fellowship & Access Fund

Our end of year celebrations raise money for the Queensland Writers Centre Fellowship & Access Fund, which supports writers from diverse backgrounds and financially disadvantaged situations to access programs and services.

Donate any amount to the Fellowship & Access Fund with your booking or in our raffle on the night for entries to our special prizedraw. Prizes will be announced on the night.
