Queenstown - Building for Climate: Books by Women in Architecture

Join A+W NZ for a late breakfast gathering in Queenstown with architect and researcher Megan Rule of South Pacific Architecture Ltd., recipient of the A+W NZ Dulux Chrystall Excellence Award. Enjoy coffee, conversation, and the opportunity to connect with fellow members and supporters before and after Megan's presentation.

“As part of a larger study exploring an under-represented group of historic female architects emanating from New Zealand’s deep south, research to date has revealed a little known series of books authored by female architects dating as far back as the 1930s, addressing architectural design with concern for climate, in a range of different countries.”

Following the presentation, stay on to chat, share ideas, and connect with others from the local architecture and design community in an informal and welcoming setting.
