Join us for a free and inclusive evening of local democracy in action at the Queenstown Memorial Hall.
Hosted by Katie Bradford, former senior journalist at 1News/TVNZ, this debate offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from all candidates running for Mayor of the Queenstown Lakes District. With over 20 years of experience covering politics and public affairs, Katie brings clarity and insight to this important civic conversation.
Candidates will share their vision and respond to questions on key local issues including:
Housing and urban development
Tourism and infrastructure
Climate resilience and the environment
Public transport and connectivity
Council transparency and budgeting
Support for local businesses
Whether you're a long-time local or new to the district, this is your chance to engage, ask questions, and help shape Queenstown’s future.
No tickets, no barriers – just community, conversation, and democracy in action.
