We Belong: Behind-the-scenes tour of the Threepwood Woolshed Project

As part of NAWIC's We Belong campaign, join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Threepwood Woolshed Project, event hosted in partnership with Cook Brothers Construction.

We Belong is about celebrating women's place across every part of construction – from apprentices and emerging professionals through to experienced specialists and leaders. This site visit is an opportunity to see that in action.

This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the transformation of a historic rural landmark into a luxury accommodation development. The project involved the careful deconstruction of the original heritage woolshed, with significant elements including the stonework, sheep races, timber framing, roof trusses, and corrugated iron roofing meticulously dismantled, preserved, and reincorporated into a newly constructed building.

The tour will showcase how heritage preservation, high-end design, and construction techniques have come together to create a distinctive destination that celebrates the site's history while delivering a contemporary guest experience.

You will hear from members of the project team, including the Design Manager, Project Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, and Project Manager, who will share insights into the project's journey from concept through to completion. They will discuss the collaborative ECI process, design management approach, cost planning, heritage considerations, and key construction challenges that contributed to the project's successful delivery.
