Queenstown has a massive community of photographers and visual creatives, but we don’t often get the chance to get in the same room and actually talk about how we make our work.

For MEET #002, we’re talking about The Process.

Not just the final image, but everything that happened before it.

We’ll hear from local photographers and creatives who’ll take us behind a piece of their work and talk through how they got there.

The original idea. The planning. The location. The lighting. The kit. The decisions made on the day. What changed along the way. What went wrong. What worked. What they’d do differently next time.

Basically, all the stuff you don’t see when the finished image lands on Instagram.

There’s no single right way of doing any of it, and that’s the point. Everyone approaches their work differently, and this is a chance to get under the bonnet and see how other people actually make things happen.
