Queer By Nature: Shifting, Thresholds & Kinship Through Ecotherapy
Event description
Queer by Nature: Shifting, Thresholds, & Kinship Through Ecotherapy
A 4 hour creative and nature-based workshop for LGBTQIA+ folks
Join us for the next instalment of Queer by Nature - a welcoming, inclusive, and exploratory workshop that invites LGBTQIA+ adults into deeper connection with themselves, each other, and the more-than-human world.
This indoor-based offering (with some outdoor elements, weather permitting) blends creativity, ecotherapy, mindfulness, and movement through a queer lens. Together, we’ll explore what it means to belong - to land, to body, to community - and how ritual, art, and embodiment can support that belonging.
💠 What to expect:
A grounding meditation
A creative process to explore personal thresholds and transformation
A gentle movement practice to inhabit queer nature
Creation of a personal talisman
A collaborative group process to honour collective care
A closing ritual to integrate and return
No art experience is required - just curiosity, openness, and your brilliant queer self. This is a space for LGBTQIA+ kin of all backgrounds, abilities and expressions to connect, reflect and replenish in community.
🧺 Please bring:
A journal and pen
A water bottle
Comfortable clothes for sitting and moving
✨ Refreshments and art materials provided.
Spaces are limited - we’d love to have you with us.
If this speaks to you, come join us in co-creating something beautiful and grounded in queer connection.
