Queer Frames
Description
Queer Frames is a photography two-part workshop where participants learn a brief history of queer photography and how to create contemporary portraits that reflect their identity and community.
SAT 07 NOV | 1:00PM–3:00PM
SAT 14 NOV | 1:00PM–3:00PM
Through accessible theory, technical exercises, and experimentation, this workshop will give participants a better understanding of the history of queer portraiture as well as tools they can use to tell their own stories of the queer self through the lens.
Booking for the first session on SAT 07 automatically registers your place for the SAT 14 session. Both sessions are included in the price and are compulsory for the full workshop experience.
This event is part of Platform Arts’ anniversary program, 30 Years of Platform Arts, running 22 October to 12 December.
