What's it all about?
Monkey Baa is a Sydney-based theatre company dedicated to creating engaging work for young people across Australia. As one of the largest touring companies in the country, we bring stories to life nationwide. Our Creative Associate, Felicity Nicol, is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ youth. In partnership with headspace Port Macquarie and with the support of the NSW Government’s Youth Opportunities program, she’s empowering local young queer individuals to share their stories, develop creative skills, explore the LGBTQIA+ community, and, most importantly, celebrate their identities.
This journey will culminate in an exciting performance called To My Future Self, taking place on November 30th, with participants being paid for their time.Â
