About Hot Mooch

Hot Mooch is for the bipoc and queer communities of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and their allies. It is intended as a night to dance and listen to loud music: in safety, as yourself, and with abandon.

BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ front and centre: always.

Tino rangatiratanga: mō āke tonu atu.

FREE PALESTINE. 10% of sales go to Team Assal for their work supporting people in Gaza.

The night is dedicated to respectful, inclusive, and joyful space: we have no tolerance for any unsafe behaviour including racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, fatphobia, or unwanted attention.

Show lots of love and respect to our amazing performers and DJs and give them space to do their thing.

Take care of those around you, be aware of the space you inhabit and respect the needs of others. Ear plugs are available at the bar, and we encourage you to take time out, and check in with your friends. If you need help please ask the bar staff or organisers.
