Queer Life Drawing: New Beginnings

QUEER LIFE DRAWING: NEW BEGINNINGS

An invitation to experience Queer Life Drawing in this unique, intimate, and collaborative iteration of the hugely successful community-driven project, that celebrates queerness, creativity, and authenticity.

You will be guided through a curated and thoughtful queer life drawing by Launceston based, Drag Queen, Enya Arsenal. This project has span four amazing evolutions from being held within the Sawtooth A.R.I. surrounded by an ever-changing, artistic landscapes, to intimate gatherings of warm hospitality at Enya’s lavish residence, and now a collaboration with Runaway HQ.

Runaway HQ

Join us in our beautiful architectural home tucked in close to Cataract Gorge. In 2020 the house became a hub for the art, music and architectural community particularly during Covid. House concerts held via video link allowed for the virtual launch of albums, including our own Parker and Runaway Belles. Recording and visual artists have since stayed as artists in residence building on our story. Embracing diversity and making art accessible for all is at heart of Runaway HQ. Furnished with original handmade pieces from local woodworking artists we invite you to come and be creative in a warm and loving space and become a part of the Runaway HQ story.

Celebrate Queer Bodies

Runaway HW is 100% safe and an open environment, in which we respect all participants, our hosts, and above all, our fabulous Life Models.

Our Models Identify under the queer umbrella and this is reflected through their form, body and exhibition, and the way in which we interact and engage with open discussion and consent.
