We’re reimagining the warm, intimate tradition of Turkish Meyhane through a queer lens. At Pulse and Pickle, we slow down together, share mezze and rakı, and create space for deep conversation and visibility.

Queer Meyhane is a safe and inclusive space for anyone bringing their identity, orientation, and story—just as they are. At this table, no one is “too much” or “not enough.” Everyone belongs.

Entry is free, but we have limited seating capacity so registration is required.

Pulse & Pickle is a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) that operates a radical cultural centre and community hub on the Walthamstow High Street. Our plant-based migrant fusion menu is vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free. We host events ranging from live music to queer book clubs, from dance workshops to community learning sessions.
