Queer Movie Night with Albany Pride
Event description
Join Albany Pride for the first in a series of bi-monthly movie nights at Spectrum Theatre! Every second month, we will be showing a great movie and we will kick off our new favourite Saturday night out with the crowd pleasing, feel-good film ‘Pride’ (2014), rated M.
Join in for the ride as a mini-bus full of gay activists in the UK set out to help support the hard-working people taking part in the lengthy National Union of Mineworkers strike. IMDB reviews it as a 7.8/10.
Doors open 6.30pm, so come for a drink and chat first and get settled into your cosy seat with some free popcorn before the show starts at 7pm.
Tickets are $10 and will also be available at the door (if there are any left!). You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks (alcohol allowed!), or there are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for sale at the Spectrum bar.
Running time: 2 hours
Self-refunds are available via your ticket, which is emailed to you, if you find out you can't make the show. Refunds are 90% of the entry price to cover ticketing fees.
