Queer Soundbath
Event description
~ Emerge into spring with a reverberant queer soundbath on Sunday September 15th ~
Guided by Malaika Mfalme, El, and Ocean, this queer soundbath is an invitation to explore transitions, embracing the spring energy and our own weird, wonderful blossomings.
Soundbath offers a space to all our beautiful queer souls to bathe in an evening of guided meditation & ambient soundscapes. These evenings are a tender moment to drop into our hearts & bodies, immerse in collective sound healing, and connect with community.
When - 6:30-8:30pm, Sunday 15th September
Where - Greenhouse Studios, 8-10 Charles St Petersham
Rugs, cushions and couches provided in the space
Ticket - By donation (suggested $30)
Just to note: it's important to us this event remains accessible so we have chosen to continue running it by donation. If we average $30/person, we are able to cover hall hire and adequately pay facilitators. We encourage you to take this as an invitation to donate what you can.
Accessibility - Greenhouse Studios hall is wheelchair accessible, but the bathrooms are not. Tickets are limited so there is plenty of space for social distancing, we emphasise community care and ask you to remain home if you are unwell.
This event takes place on the stolen lands of the Gadigal and Wangal people. Kaleidoscope Collective pays respects to elders past and present, acknowledging their sovereignty and ongoing connection to land and waters, wisdom and community. We stand in solidarity with First Nations communities and a portion of our profits are diverted towards Pay The Rent. None of us are free until all of us are free.
