Need a splash of colour for your whare? Want to turn a tee into a statement piece? Or transform an old toy into something totally fabulous?
π π½ Op & Pop is more than just upcycling β itβs a whole mindset!
Join us for a fun, three-hour workshop where weβll:
ποΈ Take a short stroll to a local op shop to find some hidden treasures
π¨ Head back to the Arts Village and transform your finds into something brand new
β¨ Enjoy a rainbow-friendly space filled with creativity, good vibes, drinks & snacks
Youβll get to choose one of three creative paths:
πΌοΈ Art Colabs β embellishing existing artworks
π Fabric Collage β reworking tees into statement shirts
π§Έ Toy Crafting β creating cute outfits, themed toys or possibly some monster mashing
π All materials provided
π Rotorua Arts Village
ποΈ Date & Time β Saturday 26 July 1pm - 4pm

This workshop is led by the talented Ellen Jones-Poole, a mixed-media artist fresh from her 2024 Summer Studio Residency. Ellen brings her flair from the film industry and her passion for thrifty, sustainable creativity.
