FAQs + Co-Working Rules
- Why Quiet Co-Working?
If you've been to co-working before, you know it can be filled with chatter and occasional conversations that can be distracting. It can be hard to re-focus after these interruptions, especially as a neurodiverse person. That's why we do Quiet Co-Working. We only talk and share before and after the co-working sessions.
- Can I play music during co-working?
You can play music on your device, but please don't share sound. If there are distracting noises or talking in the background where you are, we ask that you please mute your microphone.
- Do I keep my camera on?
Yes, please! We're all here because body doubling helps us focus. Please keep your camera on during the event. It will help keep you accountable as well!
- I'm not neurodiverse. Can I still attend?
Of course! Yes, you are welcome here. Anyone can benefit from the event, as long as you're happy with our co-working rules.
- I don't have a business. Can I still attend?
Yes. You're welcome to work on a personal or creative project!
- Is this a women-only event?
Currently, yes. There's a real lack of events for neurodiverse women in Australia, especially for neurodiverse women in business. We want to change that! This event is open for everyone who identifies with femininity, including cis women, trans women and non-binary people.
- When do I need to arrive?
You can come and go as you please. Joining at break times (on the hour) is best as it means that you are joining at the start of the experience, rather than in the middle of it. You can drop out of a session at any time.
- When do bookings close?
Bookings close 3 hours before the event starts.
- I booked in, but I can't make it. Can I reschedule?
You can self-refund up to 1 day before the event, if you wish. To self-refund, go to Manage Order tab in your Confirmation email.
If you can no longer attend on the day, we do not offer a reschedule feature. We would consider your ticket fee as a gift to the community and it will be used to offer a subsidised ticket to a woman in financial need for one of our future events.
