Event description
Book in a time slot in the Campbelltown Toy Library with no noise and no other patrons.
Bookable, 30 minute semi-private sessions for your child- for up to 2 families at a time.
New toys designed for accessibility.
Toy Library membership - $33 a year.
No diagnosis required to access service, all welcome!
Toy library will be closed to the public, your child can vocalise freely.
Free bookings made through Humanitix.
Program will run until end of March 2026.
This low sensory session is just for your family to browse and borrow without the added stress of being in a public space.
Children living with disabilities or developmental delays who would benefit from an understanding environment and individual quiet-time in the toy library are encouraged to book in.
Quiet time borrowing sessions will be available for booking from June:
12.30pm-2.30pm Mondays,
12.30-2.30pm Wednesdays and
5.00pm-8.00pm Fridays
Families will need a current Campbelltown toy library membership in order to access the Quiet Times service. Membership is easily obtained when coming along to the session, just bring photo ID with your current address. Membership is $32 until 1 July 2025 and then $33 thereafter.
Bookings are accepted from any family who have a current Toy Library membership and accept that there will be some feedback required in the future for reporting purposes, to evaluate the success of the pilot.
Please note: this is not a stay and play session, however if your child cannot follow the ‘no stay and play’ policy, then one toy at a time may be explored, then given to the staff member for cleaning if not borrowed.
This project is led by Toy Libraries Australia as part of the Disability, Access, Inclusion and Support (DAIS) Program.
