Quilt Freedom Workshop 44: Sewing it Together

The artist Leigh Barbier of San Francisco is a long time friend whose prolific output in many media is staggering to behold. Among her drawings, paintings and sculpture I have always been extremely fond of her figures that include her distinctive stitching. Even in her paintings, Leigh manages to create brand new fabric designs that any manufacturer would love to print. Her freedom of vision and technique knocks me out. In this special workshop we'll take a look at some examples of Leigh's one-of-a-kind stitching style, as well as seeing some of her drawings and paintings for her yet-to-be produced Mushroomville Ballet. Since we will be seeing some wild stitching I have found some wildly stitched quilts to enjoy! A class you don't want to miss.
