Quilt Freedom Workshop 57: National Quilting Day on Location

For National Quilting Day--March 15--I will bring my video setup to Julie Silber's quilt shop in Berkeley. One of the most knowledgeable quilt historians on the planet, collector and dealer of quilts, possessor of some of the finest quilts ever made, Julie remains humble and always fun. This will be a special day where we will get to talk about some astonishing quilts and some of the ways they have enriched lives, expressed feelings and given voice to women over the last few hundred years. I'll be giving tips and demos throughout the day. Starting at 9 AM Pacific time, it will be 3 hours of up close and personal time with one of everyone's favorites.
