Quilt Freedom Workshop 63: All Amish

In previous Quilt Freedom Workshops we have talked about Amish quilts in our discussions of 20th Century quiltmaking overall, but this time we will be taking an in-depth look at the kinds of Amish quilts that set me on fire in the first place. We will have some Lancaster Amish, some Midwest styles and some totally surprising quilts that seem to be the forerunners of all things modern. Julie Silber will be bringing some of her latest finds, and I will be demonstrating how to draft a whole range of Amish quilting designs. The class will be worth it just to see these outstanding examples, but if you have ever wondered how to draw these classic designs, you will enjoy that part especially.
