Quilt Freedom Workshop 64: New Pointillism

It is rare that someone invents their own needlecraft technique and even rarer that they go on to make some of the most beautiful images in the world with it. Judy Coates Perez is that rare artist. Using a simple running stitch, Judy has fashioned an astonishing variety of imagery, incredibly rich and expressive. In this workshop she will share some of her favorite pieces and inspire us all. We'll have vintage work to look at and compare, quilts from Julie Silber and the International Quilt Museum, and I'll be trying my hand at the embroidery stitch. 3 hours of gorgeousness and technique.
