Hi Todd, Ged and Ryan here.

We're the Co-Founders of BetterMan, a men's mental health and wellbeing charity. Some of you might have stopped reading after the mental health bit, but hear us out.

Founded in July 2023, BetterMan is the brainchild of former athletes Ged Robinson (rugby for the Crusaders, Highlanders, Hurricanes, Rebels), Todd Astle (cricket for Canterbury, Black Caps) and Todd’s brother Ryan Astle (football for the under-7 Hokowhitu Zodiacs).

Coming from sporting backgrounds, we’ve been coached by some of the best (Dave Rennie, Gary Stead, and Daniel Hamlin's Mum, to name a few) on how to become better athletes, but so much of this knowledge is transferable in helping others become better versions of themselves. Our approach is to take the best parts of team sport, combine this with positive psychology principles and get people having fun.

Quiz teams of 6 and smaller groups are welcome, if you do not have a team, we will match teams together on the night.
