Event description

Join us for this seminar at QUT to find out more about the QTAC process and how to make your preferences work for you. The session will include:

  • QTAC offers explained

  • Things to consider before the QTAC deadline on 8 December

  • How to manage your preference changes

  • What happens next.

The information provided in this seminar is for domestic students considering undergraduate study (i.e. bachelor degree study).

How to register for the seminar: 

  • Click 'Register'

  • Select the number of tickets on the next screen and click ‘Continue’. Everyone in your group must have a ticket to reserve their seat. For example, if there will be three people attending from your family, you must register for three tickets. 

  • On the next screen you will be asked to enter your details (ie. buyer information) and then click 'Continue to ticket info'

  • For each ticket, enter the first and last name of the person attending. Select 'Continue' and you are all booked in! You will receive a confirmation email.

CAMPUS TOURS–11am and 2.30pm

We're running guided campus tours at both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses before and after the seminar at 11am and 2.30pm. It's the perfect chance to explore the campuses with a current QUT student and ask them questions about their uni experience. Register for a tour here.

I can't attend the seminar on campus. Is there an online option?

Yes, you can attend the seminar online via Zoom. Register for the webinar here.

I am an international student, could I join the seminar?

Yes. If you're an international student studying at a local high school in Australia and attending a QUT campus tour on 2 December, you are most welcome to attend. Some QTAC information may be relevant but please be aware that most of the information provided is primarily for domestic students considering undergraduate study (i.e. bachelor degree study) and our team may not be able to answer international admissions-related questions.

If you are not attending a QUT campus tour on 2 December, QUT International are hosting a separate webinar online via Zoom. Register for the QTAC information session for international students.

Is there parking available at Gardens Point?

As Gardens Point is located in the city, we strongly recommend public transport. Use the Translink journey planner to access public transport timetables and services at https://translink.com.au There is paid parking available on campus. Plan your trip to Gardens Point.

I’m not sure which campus to tour?

Where you study will depend on the course you choose. Check the campus for your preferred course on our study page. Note the seminar is being held at Gardens Point campus.

Can I tour both campuses?

Yes, you will need to register for one tour at 11am and the other tour at 2.30pm. Note the seminar is being held at Gardens Point campus at 1pm. If you do not have your own vehicle to travel between campuses, speak with your tour guide who can provide you with a bus pass to travel on the QUT shuttle bus (generally for staff and students only).
