Nevertheless in collaboration with Brownie Haven presents Rhythm & Brownies (R&B) Night
Friday 30th May 2025
Join us for a cozy night of poetry, spoken word, live music and mouthwatering brownies at Rhythm & Brownies — an open-mic evening where rhythm meets reflection. With the theme “I Am Worthy,” this event honours Mental Health Awareness Month and invites people to gather for an evening of Storytelling & Sweet delicious brownies!
R&B will feature a few Māori & Pasifika guest poets including Black Sugarcane Author - Nafanua Kersel and Rangatahi Poet - Kaiata Kaitao. R&B will feature 5 x 5 minute open-mic slots. If you would like to apply to perform in one of 5 slots please fill out this form.
