R U OK? Virtual Check In With Tribe

Poonam, Afra and Bhavna here, surfacing together for the first time since 2020 happened. It's been a tough few months becoming comfortable with this permanent state of uncertainty and doing our best to adjust. We know we are not alone in this sentiment. With R U OK? Day around the corner on 10th September, we want to create the space for us as small business owners to come together and have a candid conversation about how we are all doing.

R U OK? is an Australian charity that focuses on suicide prevention, by encouraging people to meaningfully connect with those around them. It is proven that a strong sense of community and belonging are protective factors that give people the confidence to talk about life’s ups and downs. 

As women in business, we are very much interconnected. Whilst our journeys are unique; our hopes, dreams, fears and set-backs have many parallels. Our obligations force us to show up and be present for our businesses publicly, but our private struggles may go untold. So, join us for this check-in to make sense of the world around us. Come as you are; share if you want. Be the listener or the advisor- we won't mind. It's a safe space for us to take a moment to say "Are We Okay?".
