Travel instructions

Te Whare Taonga o Te Awamutu Museum is located at 135 Roche Street, Te Awamutu, in the district of Waipā and the Waikato region. Driving south from Hamilton takes approximately 33 mins by car. Driving north from Ōtorohanga takes approximately 24 mins, if coming from Waitomo Caves please add on around 13 mins.

9.15am – attendees asked to gather outside the museum or on the Foyer if wet ready for 9.30am start.

Entry to the Museum is through auto-opening doors with no steps encountered when entering.
