This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

"Its not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti racist” – Angela Davis.

How do educators navigate the messy imperfect world of Anti-Racism?

Take action against racism is one of the required actions in an education reconciliation action plan, but also one of the trickiest. How do educators take action that is age appropriate, respectful, and creates genuine change? From early childhood to tertiary, we’ll talk about how you can be an anti-racist educator and transform your education settings into safe and respectful places for all children and young people to learn and grow.

Join us for a panel with experts on racism in education, and learn about how you can create safe and inclusive education settings.

Panel members:

Naomi's research has focused on initiatives to counter stigma, discrimination and bias and promote diversity and inclusion among individuals, organisations and across society.
