Racism in Schools Strategic Conversation Series #2: Examining Racism in Schools - Toowoomba
Event description
Join us for the second session in this series of conversations about racism in schools, and the impact it has on students, families and communities. This important discussion is focused on building robust, place-based solutions to address racism in schools in the Toowoomba region.
In this second conversation, we move beyond the research into racism in schools, to now discussing the issue, and possible solutions.
This event is presented by the Darling Downs African Communities Council (DDACC), Ethnic Communities Council Queensland (ECCQ), and Welcoming Cities Australia, and supported by Mercy Community Services, Multicultural Australia, QPASTT and Toowoomba Regional Council.
Lunch will be provided at the end of the session.
