Racism in Schools Strategic Conversation Series #3: Examining Racism in Schools - Toowoomba
Event description
Join us for the final session in our three-part series as we turn our focus to solutions and action.
In our first session, we validated the issue, shared the research, and highlighted the work already underway. In the second meeting, we listened to powerful lived experiences and explored the changes people want to see.
In this third and concluding session, we’ll bring those threads together, sharing what we’ve learned, identifying practical solutions, and delivering a personal and professional development training "Active Inclusion and Upstander", to help us move forward with purpose and impact.
This event is presented by the Darling Downs African Communities Council (DDACC), Ethnic Communities Council Queensland (ECCQ), and Welcoming Cities Australia, with the support of Mercy Community Services, Multicultural Australia, QPASTT and Toowoomba Regional Council, TIMS, QPS, Dr Aaron Teo and Mark Morris.
