Event description

Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) and Elite Skills Global Training are bringing to Logan the conversation about racism in schools, and the impact this has on students, families and communities.

This important discussion is focused on building robust, place-based solutions to address racism in schools in the Logan area. The session will feature Dr John Bosco Ngendakurio presenting the key findings of his research into racism in Australian schools and recommendations on how to reduce racism and/or mitigate its impact. A facilitated discussion will follow, involving parents, educators, politicians, and community members, fostering a collective understanding of the issue.

Refreshments will be provided at the end of the session. For more information you can email advocacy@eccq.com.au
