Event description
Radiant Resilience: Building Health, Vitality, and Inspiration for the Child and Adult
Northern California and Nevada Regional Conference for Waldorf Early Childhood Teachers with Ruth Ker
Friday, November 7, 2025 | 5pm-9pm
Saturday, November 8, 2025 | 8:30am-4pm
In-person at the Marin Waldorf School | 755 Idylberry Road, San Rafael, CA 94903
These uncertain times call for a deeper understanding of the formative forces present in the child's first seven years. How do we recognize this life body? How do we engage in meaningful ways to strengthen this wellspring for the child and the adult?
Ruth Ker, WECAN’s Teacher Education Coordinator and representative on the AWSNA Teacher Education Delegates Circle, is also a Program Director for West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy. She lives in Duncan, BC, Canada, where she was a founding teacher at the Sunrise Waldorf School. As facilitator of the WECAN Older Child in the Kindergarten Group and member of the international IASWECE working group on this theme, Ruth edited From Kindergarten into the Grades and You’re Not the Boss of Me. She is also the author/editor of Please, Can We Play Games?
