Radical Compliance: How to Use Advertising Laws for Radical Social Impact

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Claims by business that they’re sustainable, impactful, responsible have become wallpaper. The words are losing meaning. Consumers are losing trust. There’s an antidote to this: radical compliance.

It means using the law to make a difference (that’s what we’re about.) It means crafting marketing campaigns with real information and solid substantiation, and using principles from misleading advertising laws to your advantage. That allows you to push boundaries. Educate. Call out what’s wrong and why.

We’ll use practical examples to show how you can evolve your marketing, speak to your audience with honesty and integrity, and contribute in a real way to positive change.

Presented by Hannah Marshall and Danielle Kroon from Marque Lawyers. Marque Lawyers is a proud B Corp, led by the purpose of using the law for good. With this session, we want to inspire businesses to speak truth and hold themselves to a higher level of accountability, trusting their audiences to come with them.
