Charity Raffle Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser Details:

• Name of the charity: Cancer Society Hawke's Bay.

• Registered charity number: CC21870

2. Raffle Details:

• Title of the raffle: Treat Experience

  • Purpose of the raffle: Hawke's Bay Cancer Society

• Start and end date of the raffle: 15th July 2025 - 1st September 2025.

• The date and time of the raffle draw: 4th September 2025

3. Ticket Information:

• Price per ticket: $5 per ticket, 5 tickets for $20 or 15 tickets for $50

• Tickets are available for purchase from 15th Jully 25 to 31st August 25

• The total number of tickets available for sale is [number of 500 online

• Tickets can be purchased through Humanatix or by emailing jaki.supra@cancercd.org.nz

4. Payment Information:

• Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card

• Payment must be received before the raffle draw to be valid.

• No refunds are available for raffle ticket purchases.

• Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

• The package can be taken on different days/weeks. Not necessarily at the same time. Bookings for Stay, High Tea / Movies to be made by the prize winner.

• The organiser reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Draw Process:

• The draw will be conducted at the Cancer Society offices - 801 Francis Hicks Ave, Hastings.

• The winner will be selected at random using a random number generator and confirmed by a JP.

7. Winner Announcement:

• The winner’s name will be published within 10 days of the draw

• If the winner cannot be contacted after 3 attempts within 3 days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected.

10. Terms of Participation:

• By purchasing a ticket, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

• The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant found violating the raffle rules or engaging in fraudulent activities.

• The organiser is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage incurred by participation in the raffle, including the acceptance and use of the prize.

11. Data Privacy:

• The organiser will collect personal information to process raffle ticket sales and notify winners.

• Personal information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

• Participants have the right to request access to their personal information held by the organiser.

12. Cancellation or Postponement:

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the raffle. Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.

• If the raffle is cancelled, all ticket purchases will be refunded, and the draw will not proceed.

13. Governing Law:

• The raffle is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

• Any disputes arising from the raffle will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

14. Liability:

• The organiser is not responsible for any technical issues, errors in the processing of tickets, or any other factors beyond the organiser’s reasonable control that may impact on the raffle.
