Event description

Peter Warren and Sukhawat Ali Khan of Baraka Moon join forces with Ruti Celli and Meiron Egger to present Raga Sun. 

Raga Sun plays high energy spiritual dance music based around Qawwali (Sufi)music mixed with classical , ambient and African grooves. 

Singer Sukhawat Ali Khan is the son of vocal legend Salamat Ali Khan . Ruti Celli is the creator of intimate cello and brings, classical, ambient and new age influences to the band. Drummer Peter Warren brings 30 years experience of performing with African and Indian artists with a unique percussion/drumset style. Multi instrumentalist Meiron Egger trained at the Rimon school of music and bings world keyboard and soprano sax elements to the band.

Opening: Feral Opera

DJ Feral weaves Caroluna’s powerful, liquid gold operatic voice, her ethereal melodies and original compositions into his select blend of evocative and exotic world rhythms. Together they craft a seductive mix of crystalline vocals, amplified with deep bass and funky beats.
